Not intentionally, just playing an insomianac. And Bob's correct. While IBM has contributed a lot of $ and code to Linux, on many different platforms, there is no IBM distribution. The closest would be that at one time (and may still for all I know) had an investment in RedHat. I've been told that the decision to not have a distribution was intentional to fit into the culture. I ordered a pSeries earlier this year that had RedHat preinstalled. Their software usually supports RedHat and SuSe distributions, and often runs on others. /ahw > >Shane ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
