Looks like survival of the 'most hydrated'. Golf channel said 20 spectators  
were treated for heat problems yesterday. Didn't see a thing under  102 thru 
Sunday. The one I remember is Ken Venturi staggering to victory in  104 but 
don't remember if it was Oakmont or Medina. Think he had glucose at the  turn 
and 
Dr. escorted him the backside. Don't think he would have made it  another 
hole. Completely spent.....
 
I remember caddying double as a teen at a Pro-am in Florence and did OK  
first 18 but second 18 got around to 17th hole and Pro asked which club and I  
found that by saying the planets in order I could stay focused. So I says it's  
between a Saturn and a Neptune. He carried his own big ol' bag the rest of  the 
way and made sit and drink water for a while.
 
Guess we could talk about IBM scoring to get back on  track.....
