I don't know too much more information other that what he said that the email he got contained info that was not on their "public" web site. He did not go into specifics other than the email contained "private" information.

About 10 years ago I put my resume up on Monster and didn't even get a nibble. I never bothered to take it off (if that can be done). I had more luck on DICE.com. IMO monster was more for the pc weenies than MF types, but that was 10+ years ago.
