Don't you just hate people who answer their own questions?

The problem was actually an S0C4-10 in an LE program: EDCEXTVR in module
CEEEV003 in CEE.SCEELPA. Then, something "clicked" that was mentioned
here about C programs and XPLINK(ON) now being the default in z/OS 1.8.
I put an XPLINK(OFF) in the PARM= on the program and am getting
different Oracle errors.

Anybody seen anything like:
