Hi Nick, We do use Concurrent-Copy for some of our backups; however we prefer to backup the duplex copies for our major production application.
It gives us a point in time backup of our entire application. We break the duplex pairs of 220 application volumes. We can then take our backups at our leisure over the next few hours. If one of these backups fails then it can just be rerun and still maintain the integrity of being taken at the same point in time as the other 219 volumes. I believe that there is also less impact on the performance of the application. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail is sent by Suncorp-Metway Limited ABN 66 010 831 722 or one of its related entities "Suncorp".
