One of our developers is asking me if he can run Java programs with classic MVS files (sequential and VSAM) as input and output. To date, our programmers have written files to the file system, manipulated them, written back to classic MVS file structures.
I tried searching the group history via Google groups, and got either way too many hits on a generic search or nothing on a specific search. Obviously, my Google-foo is weak. I'm buried in hardware planning and would appreciate a reference, if anyone knows this is doable. Or a reference if you know it is not. Thanks.
