And that's exactly where the potential strengths and weaknesses of HC
lie. 

For 10 or 20 years IBM is promising us self-monitoring and self-healing
systems and the aging mainframe staff will soon become a problem,
boosting HC can well be the new direction to keep mainframes high
quality machines, simply operatable by fewer and less experienced staff.
But for this HC should really be an improvement, not used as a
commercial vehicle to sell something new, while it is the same detergent
in a new box. Because then it will turn against mainframes and the way
down will be swift.
