I do not think an expectation that someone trying to use SMF data would know IBM has manuals available is too much to consider. The OP does not know what to ask for. New for coming from what release going to what release? How did they come to know SMF data even exists? Pretty sad, in my opinion. We should always help direct them to where manuals are so they can then ask 'what page?'
