We inadvertently caused our alternate coupler volume to go offline. The Primary pack data sets were fine.
When I attempted to restore them using the SETXCF COUPLE,TYPE=(ARM),ACOUPLE=(SYS1.SCPLX1.ARM.CDS02) I was presented with the following messages: SETXCF COUPLE,TYPE=(ARM),ACOUPLE=(SYS1.SCPLX1.ARM.CDS02,SRXCF2) IXC309I SETXCF COUPLE,ACOUPLE REQUEST FOR ARM WAS ACCEPTED IXC260I ALTERNATE COUPLE DATA SET REQUEST FROM SYSTEM 272 SDH8 FOR ARM IS NOW BEING PROCESSED. So I am going to delete the alternate and redefine and then add it back in. But if you could help me to understand if a U would work in this case. That will be great for the future Lizette ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
