Well, IMS is nor dead for sure. But think you are a Chinese bank with some hundreds of account. Now try to access it with DB2 or Anabas with a reasonable response time. I have seen few TPF systems in my life. Like old soldiers, they don't die, they are outsourced. This is because in the systems TPF running, there is an advantage to size.
