Walter, It is more expensive because there are two different pricing metrics in force. z/OS.e, I believe, is under a NALC agreement and Netview is under the Variable WLC agreement. z/OS.e is cheaper because IBM offered it that way as an incentive. Otherwise, you would be complaining the OS is too expensive! :-)
