When a full DASD volume dump is restored to another DASD volume, the datasets for the indexed VTOC and VVDS reflect the name of the volume ID that the copied was from. What is the consensus from this group of what should be done to reflect the correct names? Should the index be purged and re-built? Not sure what to do with the VVDS.
