Actually, LE is a lot better now than it was prior to OS/390 2.10.
We flawlessly went from 2.10 to 1.4 to 1.7 without any LE issues.
Even with COBOL programmes that, if they had been a wine, they would have been 
vintage.

IBM finally got it right.
Remember: Software eventually works!
