Hello Walter, Because there is only this device attached on this channel and only the PROD LPAR needs access. On the previous channel there are attached 4 devices like printers etc. I defined the new statement with HCD. What you see is the extract from HCD. I defined the new channel dedicated, so normally there is no possibility to select a candidate LPAR. Before i do the dynamic reconfiguration the old channel was active in the PROD partition.
