We have just setup TELNET to run in it's own address space under z/OS 1,7, does any one have experience with automatically restarting TELNET & FTPD using an automation product. The TCPIP doc says that AUTOLOG will not check for and restart "Generic Servers" like TELNET and FTPD. AUTOLOG does start them when TCPIP comes up initially but not when TELNET or FTPD are stopped or ABEND.
