Hallo All
I am investigating a strange problem. A user performed a logical restore of
mutiple disks (client volumes) using EXHPDM. I have noticed that message
ADR412E is being posted to indicated that the dsn has failed serialization. I
have noticed that this occurs when DFDSS is trying to restore a multi volume
dsn. After the job completed I checked to see if the dsn was restored, and it
was done. I was able to access dsn (via ISPF 3.4 BROWSE). My question is
should I ignore this message or is there some other parm I should add to the
restore commands. Below are the restore parms used.
PARALLEL
RESTORE DATASET(INCLUDE(*.**)) -
INDDNAME(TAPEV01) REPLACE CATALOG -
DELETECATALOGENTRY OUTDYNAM(PROM01) -
TGTGDS(SOURCE) SPHERE
RESTORE DATASET(INCLUDE(*.**)) -
INDDNAME(TAPEV01) REPLACE CATALOG -
DELETECATALOGENTRY OUTDYNAM(PROM02) -
TGTGDS(SOURCE) SPHERE
Thanks to all.
