Jim

with this APAR you get DSNHPC7 and this is almost the V7 precompiler
You already have DSNHPC which is the V8 precompiler.

Of course you might keep the old V7 precompiler libraries. I don't
know if this is legal. However a DBRM from a V7 precompiler will bind
on a V8 system. Don't know if this DBRM contains SQL against db2 catalog.

The method by this APAR is documented/supported and legal.

What is your problem?
