Hi, We have two exceptions checks in our sysplex with our logrec logstream:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- IXGLOGR_ENTRYTHRESHOLD Explanation: A log stream defined to a structure has encountered a structure entry threshold condition. This means that the structure had 90% of the entries inuse at one time. Once the entries reach 100% writes to all of the log streams in the structure will fail until the full condition is resolved. Applications using the affected log stream(s) may experience a slowdown or possibly an outage if the condition is not resolved in a timely fashion. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- IXGLOGR_STRUCTUREFULL Explanation: A log stream defined to a structure has encountered a structure element full condition. This means that the logstream used all of the elements in its portion of the structure. Additional log stream writes to the structure will fail until the full condition is relieved. Applications using the affected log stream(s) may experience a slow down or possibly an outage if the condition is not resolved in a timely fashion. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have offloaded the logrec logstream and now it's 2% full but when we refresh the check the exception continues though we have refreshed the structure. We believe that the problem is that Health Checker doesn't refresh the last condition threshold in the check: Time of Last Log Stream Structure Count Condition SYSPLEX.LOGREC.ALLRECS LOGREC 1 11/21/07 05:38:26 The check is only active in one of the four lpar in the sysplex.
