Hi,
We found another issue with PHOENIX and PREFERENCE which was promptly fixed by
the vendor when ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(NO) was set.
Remember that user key does not mean just key 8 in this case the allocation was
being done in key 11. The developer at Sum Total wrote us a fix S791006.
PHOENIX 7.9.1
PREFERENCE 7.9.1
PTF Number: S791006
DATE: 10/10/2007
Applicability: All PHOENIX and PREFERENCE Clients
Problem: If you disable the allocation of User Key storage in
CSA via "ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(NO)", then a System B78 Code
X'5C' will occur.
The Code X'5C' indicates that a program attempted to
obtain User Key (8-F) storage from a CSA subpool and
ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(NO) was specified.
Action: Apply the following PTF.
Best Regards,
Sam Knutson, GEICO
