We are contemplating making a change to MCSOPER processing to prevent user's from specifying a console that has been defined as a system console. (By system console, we mean the operating system console facility available through the HMC). The intent of this change would be to further protect the system console (the console of last resort) from being inadvertently activated or deactivated.
