Subject: PL/1 Storage Control Issue

Can anyone point me to a reference that describes in detail the various storage control blocks used by PL/1 in managing BASED storage entities?

I have an application that's running out of storage, supposedly, far too soon, even with REGION=0M. The number of entities that lead to failure leads me to believe that the BASED elements are all being held in 24-bit addressable storage. This is NOT a UNIX-style application, if that makes any difference. The compiler is IEL00.

Rick,

Make sure the LE runtime parms like STACK, LIBSTACK, etc, are all set to ANY, ALL31 is ON, etc. I can't remember if there are PL/I compiler options controlling storage, it's been a LONG time.

Regards,
Tom Conley
