Victor, you can try DFHSM command TAPECOPY. It provides a way to copy ML2 & Backup tapes(single file tapes). Use the below command: HSEND TAPECOPY OVOLS(A00001) AVOLS(B00000) where, OVOLS - original volume & AVOLS - Alernate Volume Cheers Vijay
