IBM has tentatively identified OA19820/UA34618 as the culpret for this problem. This particular APAR/PTF is a z/OS 1.8-only APAR/PTF. I'm z/OS 1.8, but it may not be clear what this means for z/OS 1.9 users of IFAURP until IBM takes an APAR for this issue - by which I mean the problem tentatively identified as introduced by OA19820 may be in the "base code" in z/OS 1.9, or the problem might be z/OS 1.8 only, odd as that may seem. I don't know how the bad data will be "fixed", either. IFAURP keeps its data for months in its history data set....which is then "processed" on an annual basis by IBM and customer software contracts personnel.
