But, we were zipping and shipping to customers, or receiving and unzipping, under z/OS. Our internal people used WINZIP (same support issues with PKZIP), and UNIX was just used as file/print servers and a warehouse picking/packing application. We rarely had users signed on directly to UNIX (now LINUX), and they were mostly ops, tech support, & DBA's.
