In z/OS 1.4 (and maybe prior) IDCAMS REPRO would abend the job step when an Abend was detected (eg B37, D37 913). In z/OS 1.7 it reports a problem with a message and return code 12. This is the way IDCAMS needs to operate for the Modal/functional commands to be able to work together. Does anyone know when or how the operation was corrected to issue the message and RC rather than abort the job step completely?
