There is a theory, that friday afternoon you should drop all your work, put your feet on your desk and think about everything and nothing that has more of less to do with your work. This opens your mind and friday topics fit in to this, I like them and they sometimes give you another view on even mainframe related subject. However they should have the requirement that they don't last longer than friday.
