So, for example, you'll find a Redbook named "Encryption Facility for z/OS Version 1.10". You need to parse that carefully. It's not Encryption Facility for [z/OS Version 1.10] but rather [Encryption Facility for z/OS] Version 1.10. That is, Version 1.10 of the Encryption Facility for z/OS. This kind of ambiguity happens fairly often with our software products that run on z/OS, in my experience. Does that explain what you're seeing? -- Walt Farrell, CISSP IBM STSM, z/OS Security Design ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
