In my opinion, IBM has a naming problem sometimes. So, for example, you'll
find a Redbook named "Encryption Facility for z/OS Version 1.10".

You need to parse that carefully.

It's not
Encryption Facility for [z/OS Version 1.10]
but rather
[Encryption Facility for z/OS] Version 1.10.

That is, Version 1.10 of the Encryption Facility for z/OS. This kind of
ambiguity happens fairly often with our software products that run on z/OS,
in my experience.

Does that explain what you're seeing?
