Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Mark. I could only work on it part time and I'm no REXX expert so it took me a while to modify the REXX routine to accept the dstype I was looking for and only report on those entries . The only problem I have now is that when I invoke it from TSO the routine runs fine, however, when I invoke it from batch using IKJEFT01, the output dataset always returns empty. I am queuing the output records that match the deferred status and then writing them out to a dataset at the end of the REXX then freeing the dataset. Any suggestions?
