Thanks to the respondents. At one time, I had RTFMd that stated the way to bring down OMVS/USS was to issue the 'F BPXOINIT,SHUTDOWN=FILEOWNER' & 'F BPXOINIT,SHUTDOWN=FORKS' commands.
These two commands have worked until Saturday.
