Just to clarify, 64 has to be a factor of the blocksize, not the record
length, so with FB 80, blksize=8000, you could still split up to 64 byte
chunks
What happens if the last block contains 7920 characters, which is
not a multiple of 64?
True..I hadn't really thought it through for FB 80. My usage has always
been with lrecl(mod64)
