Hello,

If you want to testing a program on whatever programming language supported
by Language Environment (except java or DB2 stored procedures controlled by wlm
... described forward), you need the WLM environment customized in goal mode:
service classes, report classes, coefficients, resource groups, etc. This way
you could monitor your goal's, performance index and learn it.

If you want to testing a Java program or a Java- DB2 Store Procedure ... you
need the WLM environment customized in goal mode, USS/DB2/Java customization,
WLM application environment and so on.

If you want to testing DB2 stored procedures controlled by wlm ... you need
the WLM environment customized in goal mode, DB2 customization, WLM application
environment.

Besides reading a RedBook or 2, how can I get a little "Hello World" progam
executed through WLM on our ADCD installed z/OS 1.8 system? I've zero WLM
experience.

Or is life a lot more complicated than I wish?

TIA,
Jerry
