I don't think so. As far as I know, z/VM does not emulate the old S/370 I/O architecture (SIO et al.). Now, if it did, that would be interesting. If it did, then you would be able to run OS/360 (as well as MVS 3.8j) on an IFL. Wouldn't that be interesting? Who's up to starting a project to "port" OS/360 or MVS 3.8j to run on an IFL?
