It shows that the dsn was using 1,643 tracks even though it allocated 5,000 trakcs. How should I fix the discrepancy between the "Current Allocation" and "Current Utilization"
John, I don't understand your question: what do you want to fix? The dataset has allocated 5000 tracks, 1643 tracks used and 3347 tracks free for you to write into. If you need to write more, the dataset needs to extend, but it cannot because it already has 16 extents and a PDS cannot go multivolume. Therefor you need to allocate a larger dataset.
