I'd use the data from LSPR and figure out the percentage of total processing capability assigned to each of your current LPARs and create the weights from that. Then I'd adjust it as needed based upon the way things are running. As far as LPs for each LPAR, it depends. If all the LPARS peak at the same time, I'd assign as few as possible to provide the service needed. Remember that weights can be changed on the fly.
