Mani, First, I would suggest you join the ISPF and TSO-REXX newsgroups. They can help you with future questions. We will do our best to help you with questions here as well.
Second, ISPF EDIT MACROs when used with CLIST or REXX processes will help you to do more "automated" work. You will need to work with the ISPF, TSO, Rexx manuals to learn to you do this. You can also look up on SHARE.ORG the presentations related to ISPF. There are many good how to presentations which will help you with this process. Lizette > > Thanks for your response!. In ISPF if you prefix with an equal sign (=), ISPF can usually take you there. > > For example, you are editing a data set in option 2 but now you want to go to option 3.14. Instead of using PF3 (END) until you get to the main menu, and then type in 3 (enter), 14 (enter), you can just type in =3.14 from any ISPF command line and get to that panel. Is this what you are looking for in relation to "short cut" ? > > The other issue you can run into is if your shop has a customized ISPF environment. If it does, then you would need to see how those are setup to use short cuts. > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
