I haven't been following this but has anyone suggested setting up a CTC between the LPAR's. The connection is setup over Escon channels.

We have many disparate systems in this shop (and others that I've been at) that there is no way... even with a "true business need" that I would consider trying to move into a shared spool environment. Technical reasons can out weigh business needs. Security is another issue. There are other factors also...
