Good Morning To All,
I am using the COPYVOLID option to transfer disks from one controller to
another. The job failed because of :
ADR402E (001)-AUTH (26), AUTHORIZATION CHECK FAILED FOR DATA SET
DTMST.IPPCV2, ON VOLUME MVSL01, 14-004-104, IN CATALOG MCAT.SYS
ADR308E (001)-DDTFP(01), ACCESS DENIED FOR VOLUME MVSL01
I checked with the security folks and they say it was not a Security issue.
Some of the volumes that I am trying to transfer contain PAGE dsns as well as
CATALOGS.
Can I use COPYVOLID to perform this function for these types of volumes?
Below are the parms which I used.
//SYSIN DD *
COPY INDDNAME(DASD1) OUTDDNAME(DASD2) -
ALLDATA(*) ALLEXCP COPYVOLID PURGE
