Yes.  I do so by default all the time.  The nice thing is you don't have
to sort the data first like you do when processing all the LPARs 
separately from SMF offload files. 

I have seen those occasionally too (disclaimer... I don't do this as often
as our performance folks do).   Are you trying to process a time 
period that may be gone from one of the systems (what happens
if you run the same job using only a current interval)?  Is the RMF interval
the same on all the systems?  Or they all syncing the same way (either to
a specific time or to SMF)?
