Anyone out there look into running their SDMs (System Data Movers for a
XRC environment) on zIIP engines? In particular I'm looking into does
anyone have experience or statistics on what percentage of work of the
SDM's can run on the zIIP engine. For example if you have 2 z9 engines
were you able to reduce the z9 general purpose CP by one? Obviously a lot
is based on how many volumes you are mirroring but just looking for ball
park numbers and I haven't seen any on the IBM site. I guess we could
always just purchase a zIIP and look at RMF but would prefer something to
read now to tell management why we would even go down this road.

Thanks in advance.
