Please post your SMP/E control statements. Apply S(xxxxxxx) will return SYSMOD missing. Apply S(yyyyyyy) groupextend will usually suppress this message unless xxxxxxx is not superseded by yyyyyyy.
If the message persists, xxxxxxx is a pre-req for something else that does not supersede xxxxxxx. >From the sample posted below, any of the three sysmods (L1A00ET, L1A00JG, and L1A00KE) would have superseded L1A00CA and enabled L1A00CB to be installed. Either include the three PTFs above in the apply statement or find out why they failed. HTH, <snip> Hi all, I noticed that some version of smp/e like in os/290 2.10 or z/os 1.5, when applying ptf, smp/e will complain that some ptf are missing, in fact those ptfs are superceded. One method I know is to download those ptf and receive them, anyone notice this? 1PAGE 0001 - NOW SET TO TARGET ZONE TNCS610 DATE 01/16/08 TIME 16:26:18 SMP/E 33.22 SMPOUT OUTPUT GIM30209E ** APPLY PROCESSING FAILED FOR SYSMOD L1A00CB.
