I would image that the JFCB (alloc and time frame)from the SMF15 would be your best bet for nonVSAM ans SMF61 for VSAM define, rather than DCOLLECT. If the space usage is caused by expansion than SMF66 for VSAM may be better and SMF92 if HFS.
