If you are not changing any devices then you can work with the one you have. However to take advantage of the new console on the OSAC you will have to generate a new one. Depending on your level of HCD you might have so send a copy of you HCD to IBM and they will generate what you need on the z9, and send it back you to install. Also the CE or you will run the CHPID mapping tool so that he can setup the channels to PCHID configuration.
