Since ICKDSF works OK, you appear to have access to the SYSCONS. In you SA/DSS did you code an OPERCNSL keyword? Usually it'll wait if that console isn't there but you should have a WSC then. Did you get a WSC after/with the message? Standalones tend to communicate with WSC more so then messages. I assume that you tried entering from the HMC to get the 'ADRY005E DEFINE INPUT ...'?
