(Actually, somewhat unwarranted rhetoric. I know a few: CMS PIPELINES, ISPF/VM, and (IIRC) XMIT Manager.) But for maximum portability, I'd suggest copying it to a UNIX directory and archiving that (selectively) with Info-Zip or pax.
