Can I register to SCIDS or it is too late?

Again I did not know that beer is free. Reading the quote again ("That way,
I won't have to buy
:>those beers at SCIDS in Austin! Come back, Shai. Please!")
It still seem to me that the guy intend to pay a lot for the "free" beer.
Otherwise why he used the words "please Shai". Maybe the guy go to another
place in Austin??? maybe share for PC , Maybe because the PC need to be
reboot every 2 hours, than PC share beer cost money (Only joke, sorry, do
not attack).
SHARE holds receptions every night except Tuesday. (Tuesday is reserved
for the ISV reception at the Technology Exchange.) Old-timers call these
receptions "SCIDS". It's customary among regular attendees to wager a
"beer at SCIDS" -- and somewhat humorous because the beer is indeed
free. However, one must make time to drink the free beer with the person
to whom you lost the wager. That obligatory time commitment, especially
for those of us with a shortage of that precious resource, and the
camaraderie of sharing beer between those involved in the wager, is the
real prize!
No matter the reason, I very much appreciate you helping me win my
public wager with IBM-MAIN. If you decide to attend SHARE, let me know.
I'll be more than happy to buy you a beer at SCIDS! ;-)
