I have no problems with that. I even have a few jobs which submit few jobs via internal readers. For example, I use CSI to list datasets according to criterias and build up a JCL with DD statements for them and then submit the thing via internal reader. In my opinion, having one BIG job, may have a problem if one step abends, then you could have a problem with rerunning the offending step. So, in the end, the real solution is: it depends.
