IBM is well aware of this issue with VISTA. The PDF files are a good alternative. If you plan on using the PDF files, make sure that you install the IBM Advanced Linguistic Search facility plug-in for ACROBAT. This is located on the tools CD, in the PLUGINS directory, with a name of HCLXINST.EXE.
