Wait a minute, guys. Isn't there something in ISPF SUBMIT that, if your JCL member does not contain a jobcard, the "default jobcard" stored in ISPF Settings somewhere is automatically inserted on top of your JCL? I seem to remember something like that ... Isn't that the solution to what ails you?
