About a year ago, I wrote that I had activated ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(NO) on my tech LPAR.
This past weekend, I've managed to get my first production LPAR up and running with this setting. This means that the software stack on that LPAR is now completely compatable with ALLOWUSERKEYCSA(NO). Thank you - to all the IBM and vendor folks who have fixed their Key 8 CSA issues! I have three more LPARs where we are awaiting just one more fix. In this case, it is Omegamon for IMS, and their APAR OA23891. This APAR is currently open. Last week, the current target date for the APAR was June 30, 2008. Today, I noticed the target date has been updated to July 31, 2008.
