Best I can recall, these 180-day free trial offers started this year
(2008), and were mentioned several times on the LINUX-390 list (at
least). I believe both Red Hat and SLES offer the 180-day trials, in
addition to IBM's offer of z/VM, an IFL (just one, IIRC) and a memory
module.
I'm "stoking the coals" here, as well. :-)
